Since launching this website back in January I have decided to try a selection of razors. Previously I was always a Mach 3 person as it was very well marketed and when I first tried it I was satisfied. That was over 10 years ago so I figured the technology would have changed somewhat. Here's what I found out.
Schick Quatro
I tried the schick 4 blade razor. It definitely provided a very close shave, in fact, probably the closest shave that I've noticed.
Four Razor Blades isn't necessarily better
My problem with this razor is two-fold. first, the added blade does seeem to add a fair amount of added friction. This was definitely noticed on my neck. Second, if I was using it after not shaving for 4-days it got clogged really easily.
Mach 3 Turbo Power
This is the vibrating razor. I really liked this razor. It provided not only a close shave but not too much friction. I found that with the sensitive areas around the neck it did a fine job without causing any iereattion.
Mach 3 Disposable
I did NOT like this razor. I found it very irritating on my neck and actually caused those stubble burns. However, my wife really enjoyed this razor on her legs. So maybe this is a better razor for less sensitive skin or for quicker movements. I wasn't sold and have now given these to my wife.

In my studies I tried to keep things as similar as possible. I'm comparing the razor throughout it's lifetime in this case I'm looking at approximately 2 weeks. They may last for longer but I wanted to ensure that things were fairly constant. Second, I am considering the shaves immediately after a shower. I am assuming the skin is the softest at this point.
What are your thoughts on these razors? Why one do you prefer?
